Cinematic Currents

This mural draws from Hyderabad’s deep connection with cinema, especially the world created inside Ramoji Film City, a place where stories come alive, from historical epics to futuristic dreams. While the earlier mural in Suryapeth focused on being rooted in culture while looking forward, this one shifts the spotlight to the rich film history of the region.
Film has always been more than just entertainment here. It’s where memory, imagination, and identity come together. Ramoji Film City stands as a reminder of that, where village sets, palace backdrops, and modern cityscapes sit side by side, all built for storytelling. This mural taps into that energy, blending the past and future through the lens of cinema.
By referencing this iconic site, the mural celebrates how Hyderabad continues to shape and be shaped by film. It invites viewers to see the city not just as a place, but as a space where different times, stories, and possibilities come together.
